Eddie was born in Gilmer Texas to John Wesley and Daisy Mary (Jones) Green on 9/14/1942.
He had a twin brother - Freddie Mac Green.
He graduated from Longview High School in 1961. He was employed by Walmart Corporation.
He married Carolyn Ruth (Hutto) Green on July 15, 1966 in Henderson, Texas.
He passed from this earth on December 2, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Wesley Hubert,Lewis and twin brother Freddie Mac Green; sister -in- law, Ruth Green and son - in - law, Shawn Simon.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Green, daughter Kelli Simon, son Kevin Green and daughter Karen Green - Holbrook and husband Jeff as well as grandsons Edward and Colin Cook.
brother - in - law, Bubba Hutto and his wife Barbara, sister-in- laws Wretha Green, Jean Green, Teresa Green; numerous nieces and nephews and four special cousins.
Eddie's funeral service was held at Welch Funeral Home, Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.
Eddie was laid to rest in Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rusk County, Texas
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that donations be made in Eddie's memory to Samaritan's Purse.
