Carolyn D. Wilder, 69, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 14, 2014. She was born in Malden, Massachusetts on September 11, 1944 to the late Cecil and Dorothy (Lundgren) Baker. Carolyn grew up in North Syracuse, and upon graduating from North Syracuse High School with honors and Powelson Business Institute, she held executive secretarial positions with Eagan Real Estate, Longley-Jones Real Estate, MONY, Syracuse China and the Jewish Federation. She enjoyed cooking, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wilder of 27 years; son, John F. (Cheryl) Coughlin, Jr. of Cazenovia; daughter, Karen (Nick) Capozza of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, John F. Coughlin, III, Kathleen E. Coughlin and Michael N. Capozza. Family and friends may call Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY with a service to follow at 6 p.m.
