Dena Ardelene Thompson, age 77, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Dena was born March 28, 1943 in Sweetwater, Texas to Jack Young and Edith (Greer) Young.
Dena is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 34 years Raymond Thompson and one sister Lavonne Cates.

Those left with cherished memories are her three children David Thompson and wife Tracy, Kevin Thompson and Robin Thompson and wife Crystal, one brother Troy Young, one sister Judy Fox, five grandchildren Amanda Thompson, Adrian Thompson, Charly Motahari, Amber Luft and Sarah Tillman, six great grandchildren Dawn Motahari, Dylan Motahari, Brayden Luft, Felicity Luft, Elyzabeth Tillman and Travis Tillman, a host of other beloved family and friends who will miss dearly.

Dena was a member of Dallas County Cowboy Church for 3 years and loved spending time with her family.

A graveside service for Dena will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Kaufman City Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her husband.
