Johnny Ray Wise passed away April 13, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Thursday April 16, 2020 at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and would eventually move to Graham, Texas during his teens. Johnny attended Graham High school up until his sophomore year then decided to leave and pursue a job in the oilfield. His career in the oil and gas industry would span 40 plus years, where he would eventually start his own company alongside his son, Clinton Wise.
In December of 1991 Johnny married Mary Ruth Walls of Graham, and in October of 1992 had had their son Clinton Wise. He was preceded in death by his father Cecil Edward Wise and mother Frances Anderson Wise, both of Alabama. Survivors include his son Clinton Wise of Midland, Texas; step daughter Sherri Alveraz and her two sons Paul Alveraz III and Travis Alveraz of Graham.
