Elizabeth Janet Weedman Snodgrass 86, New Palestine, died Thu., June 9, 2005.

She was born February 4, 1919 (d/o Ralph & Dora G. (Scotton) Weedman) in Mt. Comfort, IN. Elizabeth was a homemaker and member of Friendly Neighbors Home Economics Club, Oakleaf Literary Club, and attended the New Palestine United Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Nathan Snodgrass, and her brother Thomas H. Weedman. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Pat) Snodgrass, New Palestine, Wayne Snodgrass, Houston, TX, Joe (Anita) Snodgrass, New Palestine; daughter Kathy (Bob) Dearing, Indianapolis; and brother Sidney H. (Sharon) Weedman. She also had 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces, and 2 nephews.

A service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13 in Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel, with calling there 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 12. The burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hancock County Senior Services, 312 E. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 or Hancock Hope House, 35 E. Pearson Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
