Born in Suffern, New York, Michael is the son of Jean Frisino and the late Roger J. McCarthy and the stepson of Mary Jean Fitzgerald McCarthy. He was educated in the East Ramapo School District.
Michael was very politically aware and enjoyed a spirited political debate. He was a life long Mets fan, enjoyed biking and taking long walks, the Jersey Shore, and most of all loved spending time laughing with his nephews.
In addition to his mother Jean and his stepmother Mary Jean, Michael was the little brother of one sister, Carol L. (Gerard “Gerry”) Dunn, uncle of twin nephews; Tyler and Avery Dunn, nephew of Rose (late, Robert) Babcock, pre deceased by his uncle Richard Friscino (Pat), and aunt Carol Friscino. and leaves cousins Beth (Michael) Friscino, Brian Babcock, Christine (John) Babcock, his late cousin Margaret Friscino, Dominick (Deb) Friscino. and extended relatives.
