Sheila Thomas 47 of Wellington passed away Friday, April 10, 2020. A memorial service will be held later after our state’s health issue is resolved.
She was born on July 9, 1972 in Dallas, to Richard A. and Mary Jo Myers Edminster. She married Lindy Thomas on February 20, 1993 in Wellington.
Sheila graduated from Hollis High School in 1990 and Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Sayre in 1994. She was a lab technician at the Mangum Hospital for 18 years and returned to Wellington in 2019. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Mary Jo and Jerry Reeves.
Her survivors include her husband Lindy of Wellington; a son Garrett Lane Thomas of Wellington; a daughter Jaylann Ranee Thomas of Wellington; her father Richard Edminster of Hollis, sister Melaney Edminster of Altus and her nephew Blaise Salomon of Altus.
