Everett Eugene Nash, age 87, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday morning, April 13, 2020.

He was born December 21, 1932, in Pawnee, Illinois, the son of Clinton H. and Urcle (Herdes) Nash. He was united in marriage to Helen Fern Hall on August 11, 1953, in Louisville, and together they have shared 66 years of marriage.

Everett served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.

He is survived by his wife: Helen Nash of Flora; two sons: David (Jackie) Nash of Maurice, LA, and James (Barbara) Nash of Fargo, ND; two daughters: Kathy (Donnie) Hale of Flora, and Karen Phillips of Flora; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister: Sadie Little of Flora; and a sister-in-law: Wanda Nash of Xenia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and three sisters.

A private graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora with the presentation of military funeral honors. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry and will be accepted through the funeral home.
