Floyd Lane, 31 of 474 Lawndale Avenue, died after a brief illness.
Born in Harbor Springs,Michigan, he came to Mansfield three years ago. He was employed by the E.F. Malone company.
Surving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Lane; two son's Jimmy of Lowell,Mich., and LeRoy of Mansfield, two daughters, Sondra Ann and Dianna Mae; his mother, Mrs. Katie Lane of Lowell, Mich., a brother, Victor of Ypsilanti,Mich., and a sister, Vivian Lane of San Diego,Calif.
The body was removed to the Wappner funeral home to be sent to Lowell,Mich., for funeral services and burial.

SERVICES HERE FOR FORMER RESIDENT
Floyd C. Lane, 31, a resident of Lowell for about four years, passed away last Friday in General hospital at Mansfield,Ohio. The body was brought to Lowell and services were held in the Haner Chapel on Monday afternoon. The Rev. John Beukema officiated and burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
Floyd C. Lane was born July 6, 1910 at Harbor Springs,Mich., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude D. Lane. His youth was spent in Harbor Springs and he graduated from Harbor Springs high school in 1929. His father preceded hin in death sixteen years ago.
Mr. Lane came to Lowell in 1936 and was Married to Mary David on December 2, 1938. In 1940, they moved to Mansfield,Ohio, where they resided since.
