Lynette was born in Wayne County on April 4, 1946 to the late Romus and Aliease Daniels Ezzell. She was married for over 35 years to her husband, Charles Braxton Williams, who died on November 5, 1997.
Lynette will be remembered for her unconditional love as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all. So too will she be remembered for her compassionate spirit and soul. Family was paramount to Lynette, and she loved nothing more than her husband, her children, and grandchildren. She was the embodiment of love as we have been taught by our Savior, Christ Jesus.
A graveside service for the family and close friends will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
Lynette is survived by her loving daughters, Angie Williams Sollars of Goldsboro and Pam Williams-Dreez and husband, Mike of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Tyler Sollars and wife Cynthia, McCall Sollars and McKenzie Sollars; great-grandchildren, Campbell, Haiden, Sutton, Colby and Jax; sister, Faye Enriquez and husband Joe; and brother, Ed Ezzell and wife Donna. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Tom Sassano; special niece, Sandra Seymour Turner; special nephew, Chris Keith and wife Missy; and many other nieces and nephews she loved very much.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Cora Sassano and Frances Harrell; and half brothers, Bill Seymour and Jim Seymour.
