Charlie Abshire
Charlie Abshire, 73, father of Irl Abshier of Owensboro, was found dead in bed Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emma Gardner, St. Louis, Mo. He had been visiting there from his home in Rockport, Ind.
Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Betty Marsh, Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. Margaret Parker, Hatfield, Ind.; two sons, Charles Abshier, California, and George Abshier, Evansville; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Bank(sic), Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Ruth Hackleman, Rockport; three brothers, Curran of Rockport; Victor and Owen Abshier, Richland, Ind.; five grandchildren.
The body was taken to Boultinghouse Funeral Home, Rockport, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today.
