Glenda Ruth "Toni" Gaines, 87, of Magnolia passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
She was born August 29, 1932, in Springhill, La., to Robert Gilbert and Stella Johnson-Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Janell Hicks and Arlean Seamster.
Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Grant, Diane Anderson and Ivie Ann Gaines of Magnolia; sons Clarence Wise and James Gaines of Magnolia, and Earl Harris of San Antonia, Texas; sisters, Gloria Dean Grissom of Stamps, and Bertha Lee Gilbert of Springhill, La.; host of grands and great grands, special nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 27, 2020, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel, at 11 a.m., with burial to follow at 23rd psalms Cemetery under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Viewing will be Friday from 10 a.m. until service time only.
