Jay was born November 9, 1982 in Loris, SC. He enjoyed music, art, shooting pool, and especially spending time with his daughter. Jay was predeceased by his mother, Sally McCormick Boyd, his grandparents, Kelly and Agnes McCormick, and two uncles, Donald Larry McCormick, Sr. and Charles McCormick.
Survivors include a daughter, Zoey Jane Mcafee of Loris, a sister, Denise "Dee Dee" Long (John) of Conway, a special cousin, Larry McCormick (Sandra) of Tabor City, NC, two aunts, Patsy Elliott of Irmo and Phyllis McCormick of Newport News, VA, two nieces, Morgan Anthony (Curtis) of Conway and Taylor Long of Kernersville, NC, one uncle, Hoyt McCormick of Loris and many other cousins.
The family truly regrets that due to the Coronavirus and CDC regulations, the funeral service must be limited in attendance. Please contact the family for information and continue to keep them in your prayers.
