Genevieve A. Ellis (nee Anderson), age 86 of Overland, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2020. She was born on Sunday, June 11, 1933 in Summersville, Missouri, the second of nine children born to the late Luther and Eathel (nee Stark) Anderson.

Genevieve was the beloved wife for 45 years of the late Lester C. Ellis; dearest mother of Darrell (Verona) Ellis, Wanda Ellis and Carl Ellis; cherished grandmother of Lisa Ellis (Joshua Frisk), Chris (Sarah) Ellis and Danny Cantrell; loving great-grandmother of Codey, Skyler and Damon; loving great-great-grandmother of Chase; dear sister of Rose (late Bailey) Ballard, Beverly (Victor) Kizer, James (Nancy) Anderson and the late Goldie (late Charlie) Wallace, Doris Anderson, Udell (late Nell) Anderson, Bobby Anderson and Virgil (Porsha) Anderson.

Services: Due to gathering restrictions, her visitation, service and burial are private. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis County, Missouri. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
