Jay Alvin Miller, 86, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2020 with his loving wife at his side.

Jay was born on January 8, 1934 in Houston, Texas to his parents, Willie T. and Margurite Miller.  He married the love of his life MaryElla Campbell in 1957.  He was committed to his family, making sure that we all knew of his unwavering support for us each to achieve our highest potential. 

Jay is survived by his wife, MaryElla, by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Holly Miller, of Livingston; his 4 grandsons, Larry Kaiser and wife Sunni; Joshua Kaiser and wife Diana; Ryaan Villagomez; Wesley Miller and the only granddaughter, Kellee Miller.  He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Lillie, Max, Violet, Tanner, Rylyn, Hayes and Luke and one great-great-grandchild, Tinley.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and his daughter Sue Lynn Miller.

Services will be determined at a future date at the Houston National Cemetery to honor his service in the United States Army.  But his absence will forever leave a space in our hearts.
