She was a daughter of Madison and Naomi Abernathy. She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Leon Segars; daughter, Annette Hardin; and son, Billy Leon Segars. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lavern and Jerry Bennett of White; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Pearl Segars of White; son-in-law, Jack Hardin of White; brother, Lewis Abernathy of Cartersville; and two sisters, Gladys Wills of Perry, and Joyce Adams of Cartersville.
