Private services for the family will be held. After the apocalypse is over, his family and friends will come together to celebrate Justin and share stories of his antics.
Born on August 30, 1972 in Mattoon, Justin was the son of Doyie Lee and Shirley Jean (Monroe) Watkins. He and Jennifer J. Lee were married on June 12, 1992. She survives.
'Freakshow' is also survived by his parents, brother, Thomas Watkins of Charleston, IL; children: Kasandra(Tyler) Jackson of Decatur, IL, Cheyann (Colt) Crary of Mattoon, IL, and Garrett (Monica) Lee of Mattoon, IL; grandchildren: Justin, Barrett, Coraline, Aceson, Azara and two on the way; life-long best friend and 'sis', Tara Campbell Upton of Mattoon, IL; and a huge extended family, both chosen and blood. Going before him was his sister, Shiela Reed; nephew, Brantley; and parents-in-law and dear friends, Peter and Cheryl Lee.
Justin was a supervisor at Agri-Fab for over nine years, but there wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix. He was always toolbelt in hand and willing to help a friend at a moment's notice. An ordained minister with a penchant for firearms, horror movies and tattoos, Justin was also an avid Star Wars fan.
Most of all, Pop-pop loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. A good hearted soul, Justin will be remembered as a playful, down to Earth, funny, tough as nails, SOB by those who knew and loved him.
“Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not." ~ Yoda
