Joshua Lee Price of Weatherford, Oklahoma, had his life taken from him on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 3:45pm, at the age of 20 years and 3 months.

Josh had a dream of playing D1 football after high school. Nothing meant more to Josh than God and football. He worked so hard for the starting varsity position and finally received that his sophomore year at Weatherford High School. He played basketball, soccer (indoor and outdoor), and also participated in track (one of the fastest linemen ever! Haha!). Joshua performed in honor choir in both grade school and middle school. He loved to fish. He helped his papa restore not only his papa’s ‘67 firebird, but also the ‘67 jeepster and loved to drive them around showing off their work. He was always known as the class clown. Making sure everyone was smiling and laughing. He met Malorie Harding in high school where they had their son, Preston. He then met his wife Jaylee Fain and got married March 12th, 2018. Giving birth to his daughter Natalie September 2019. Waiting for the arrival of their unborn child in September 2020. He had many jobs. From Braums, to working at Ace Completions in Odessa, Tx. Working for Semper Fi. I think one of his most enjoyable jobs was working for Chicken Express as district manager. From Weatherford to Elk City. From Woodward to Shawnee. He enjoyed working so much because it gave him a purpose. He is known for fiercely loving his friends and family, he was a helpful, funny, hard-working, and thoughtful person. Always willing to help someone in need. He loved his wife and kids so much.

Born in Elk City, Oklahoma, on January 4, 2000, at 7:50pm, he moved with his family to Weatherford, Oklahoma, in April of 2001. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Clifford Hunter of Elk City and his sister Gabrielle (Gabbi) Hawthorn of Clinton, Oklahoma, whose life was also taken in 2019.

Joshua is survived by his wife Jaylee (Fain) Price, of the home; son Preston, daughter Natalie, and an unborn baby due in September; parents Dustin and Amber (Willingham) Price, of Weatherford, Oklahoma; sister Andrea Price of Weatherford, Oklahoma; nephew Kole Wilson of Elk City, Oklahoma, grandparents Stan and Paula (Carman) Willingham of Clinton, Oklahoma; grandmother Lanell Murray and husband Harold of Woodward, Oklahoma; grandmother Nita Price of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral at First Baptist Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma to follow at a yet undetermined date. Due to COVID-19 rules, attendees at the graveside service must remain in their vehicles. The family asks that memorials in honor of Josh be directed to his GoFundMe page in lieu of flowers.
