And a resident of Franklinton died Wednesday night March 18, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center. Travis was a 1977 graduate of Bowling Green School that later received an Associate’s Degree in welding. He also received training in carpentry and was an excellent butcher at the A&P Grocery in Bogalusa for many years. He was a true “jack of all trades.” Travis loved working in his yard and was proud to have obtained certification as a master gardener. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Travis was a member of Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Derek Earl Martin of Franklinton,
Deven Travis Martin and Camry Martin of Kentwood

Sister and Brother in law: Carole and Greg Martin of Franklinton

Former Wife of 39 years: Shannon Graves Martin of Franklinton

Mother in law: Marcell Cooper Graves

Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Cindy and Randy Creel,
Chuck and Robin Graves,
Phil Graves,
Suzonne and Ryan Jenkins

Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl Martin and Ola Fontenot Martin, sister Regina Martin Husser, brother William Gore, father in law Eld. J.W. Graves, nephew Spencer William Graves.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday March 21st in the Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Eld. Donnie Broom officiating
