George M. Puffer, a long-time resident of this place, died from a rupture and heart trouble Saturday evening at B.M. Sage's, where he had been but a short time. Funeral services were held at the grave in River cemetery Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. L.H. Sprague officiating. Relatives present to attend the services were his sons, Henry of Bellows Falls, and Amos of Brookline, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Sanderson of West Townshend.
