Wade “Wadeo” Bruce Johnson, 80, was born January 21, 1940 in Des Moines, the son of Everett and Edna (Schindler) Johnson. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Wade is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Mertze Anderson Johnson; his children, Jaime (John) Caes and Ian (Amy) Johnson; his grandchildren, Matthew Wade Johnson, Maesi, Maddie and John Jr. Caes; his parents-in-law, Sigurd and Ann Anderson; other loving relatives and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Johnson.

Due to public gatherings being limited to 10 people or less, private family services were held with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at a later date to celebrate Wade’s life.
