Obituary from Oswego Daily Times, May 13, 1918: Mrs. Elydia Petrie, 89, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Case, 26 West Mohawk street, after an illness of four months. She was born in Canada and had been a resident of Oswego the greater part of her life. Besides the daughter with whom she lived, Mrs. Petrie is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Frank Timmerman of Potsdam, Mrs. George Wright, Seneca Falls, and Miss Emma Petrie, Oswego; two sons, Ralph Petrie, Rochester and Charles Petrie, Hannibal, and two brothers, Hiram Baxter, Minetto and James Baxter, [Memorial ID #156367962, Riverside Cemetery] this city.
