Julie Anderson, 35, Fessenden, passed away peacefully at her home in Fessenden surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fessenden during which time CDC recommendations of social distancing, hand cleansing and encouraging you to stay home if you aren’t feeling well will be followed.

A private funeral will be held at the First Lutheran Church in Fessenden.

A Celebration of Julie’s Life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Fessenden.

Julie Ann Anderson, daughter of Perry and Lauri (Helgerud) Anderson, was born January 13, 1985 at Harvey, ND. She grew up in Fessenden where she attended Fessenden Public School, graduating in 2004. Following her graduation she enrolled at the Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot where she received Certified Nursing Assistant training and Day Care Provider training. She worked for a number of years at the Trini Tots Daycare in Minot and later worked as a Residential Advisor at Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center.

Julie was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Fessenden.

She is survived by her parents, Perry and Lauri Anderson of Fessenden; her sons, Anthony William Anderson and Austin Bentley Anderson of Fessenden; her brothers, Jacob Anderson of Grafton and Sam Anderson of Fessenden; her paternal grandparents, Peter and Rose Anderson of rural Manfred; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Julie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold Helgerud and Virginia Helgerud
