Nina Beatrice Cason Martin passed away peacefully at the age of 104 years on January 21, 2016, at the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV. She was born to Samuel Thomas Cason and Anna Mae Brown Cason on September 19, 1911, in Sullivan Co, Missouri.

Nina received her degree as a Doctor of Naturopathy in 1950 and later became a Chiropractor. Always interested in her family history, she joined the Daughters of the American Revolution in 2006. Following that, she joined the Colonial Dames 17th Century and the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims. Nina was very proud of her grandfather who served in the Civil War, and her two great-grandfathers who were in the American Revolution. Nina volunteered at the Trinity Methodist Church in Las Vegas for many years continuing into her 90’s.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Forest “Bubbie” Cason of Las Vegas and his wife Ruth. She leaves behind her sister Maxine Cason Babcock of Camdenton, MO.
