Kenneth Earl Partridge, longtime Cushing resident now of Glenpool, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 with his daughters by his side at the age of 80 years. The son of the late Cecil Partridge and Juanita Thompson Partridge, Kenneth was one of eleven children, born on November 11, 1939 in Stroud, Oklahoma.

He was raised in the Avery community where he was baptized into the Avery Baptist Church, and received his education attending and graduating from Agra High School. Following High School, he enlisted into the United States Navy, and proudly served his Country for over 22 years prior to receiving his honorable discharge.

After retiring from the Navy, Ken worked several different jobs in Cushing, but for many years he worked at the Chevrolet garage. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, doing yard work and was always tinkering with things outside. He also enjoyed bowling in a bowling league. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anybody. He had a very giving heart.

He is survived by his children, Steve Partridge and wife Tewanna of Defuniak Springs, Florida, Jerry Partridge and wife Manuela of Ashville, North Carolina, David Partridge of Defuniak Springs, Florida, Alicia Butler and husband John of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Shannon Duvall and husband Daniel of Cushing, Oklahoma; one brother Boyd Partridge of Stroud, Oklahoma; one sister Dorothy Buser of Geary, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Mikey, Landy, BJ, Damon, Miranda, Devin, Gracie, Hannah and Alex; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bob, Jim, Gene, Jess and Virgil, and three sisters, Ruth, Lou and Stella.

Graveside services will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Clouse officiating.
