Jessica Marie James, 29, of Effingham, IL, formerly of Shelbyville, IL, died at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Eric Garlick officiating. Visitation will be from noon – 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Casual attire is requested. Memorials may be given to education funds for Aubrie and Carter Dilley and Ky Strohl.
Jessica was born on August 31, 1984 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Carl Alex James and Brenda K. Fulford. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 2003 and attended Lake Land College. Jessica worked for John Boos & Co. in Effingham, IL. She loved her music and her pets.
She is survived by her grandparents, Carl and Betty Fulford of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Sara James of Windsor, IL; uncle, Steve Fulford and wife Rene of Shelbyville, IL; niece, Aubrie Dilley of Windsor, IL; nephew, Carter Dilley of Windsor, IL; and cousins, Brittany Strohl and her son, Ky Strohl both of Shelbyville, IL and Kyle Strohl and wife Nikki of Olney, IL.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Fulford Parrett; uncle, Chuck Fulford; and aunt, Kathy Fulford.
