GATE CITY, VA - Billy Gene McClellan, 59, of Gate City, Virginia passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his residence.
Billy was born on March 1, 1961 in Wise County, VA, to the late Thomas Franklin and Estelle (Stallard) McClellan. He was also preceded in death by 7 brothers and 6 sisters.
Billy loved life. Everyone who knew him, knew this to be true. He lived it to the fullest. He was a great father and an amazing Papaw.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melissa Hicks and sons, Jake, CJ and Eli; his son, Ricky Viney and children, McKenzie and Malachi; daughter, Tori Calhoun and son Berkley; son Michael Adams and children, Mikey and Maddie; siblings; Phyllis (PJ) Killion, Peggy Ramey, Debbie Ashburn, Ann Bradley, and Delmar Meade; two honorary grandchildren, Caleb Spicer and Brooke Osborne; two special nephews, Tommy Craft and Billy Meade; along with several other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank Tanya McClellan for loving him and taking care of him for 20 years.
It was Billy’s wish to be cremated. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
