Mattie Cheatham Hill, age 85, of Brush Grove Road, Willisburg, passed away at 6:45 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2020 at her home. A native of Washington County, she was born on May 24, 1935 to the late John William and Myrtle Curtsinger Cheatham. She was a member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church, a homemaker and a former employee of Kraft Foods of Lawrenceburg.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Marshall Hill on December 14, 2008; a son, Frankie Hill on February 16, 2016; a sister, Josephine Ann Baker on January 10, 1965 and a brother, J.F. Cheatham on March 13, 1994.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Holland (James) of Georgetown and Djuna Hill of Springfield; a son, Connie Robinson (Kay) of Willisburg; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a brother, Rev. Ricky Cheatham (Cathy) of Willisburg and three sisters, Catherine "Mickey" Hill of Springfield; Jean Trent of Willisburg and Susie Baker (Ricky) of Danville.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. There will be no public visitation. Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
