He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather (Papa), and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on November 2, 1936 in Clovis, New Mexico to Roy and Myrtle Pearson. Roy attended school in Grapevine before serving in the Army for 2 years. When he returned home he trained as a plumber and worked in the business for over 60 years. He loved fishing, specifically for catfish and hunting with his friends.
Roy is survived by his wife Marjorie Jean Pearson, Fort Worth, TX; Sons, Curtis (NRH) and Cary Pearson(Grapevine, TX); Daughters Diane, Judy, Brenda; Sisters, Bonnie Kidd and Mary Mullen, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers (Clarence & Tommy); Sister, Jackie; Two children Mike and Julie, and his parents. There will not be a Visitation due to the Covid Restrictions.
A private family graveside service will be held at 10 o’clock on April 13, 2020 at the Mausoleum at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Entombment will follow. A Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
