Mildred Cartence "Tency" Hess, age 86, passed away November 20, 2016 at the Brookdale Senior Living in Kingwood, Texas. She was born October 1, 1930, to parents Jess and Ora McElroy Williams in Port, Oklahoma. "Tency" was a wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother, bookkeeper, antique dealer, reader, dreamer, friend, caregiver, and a girlfriend to Bob, the love of her life and steadfast companion. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Manning and husband Wayne; son, Michael Hess and wife Dentha; grandchildren, Kelly Paull and husband Rick, Kerry Williams and husband Ron; great grandchildren, Sarah, Kacey, Lyndsi, Kody, Kyler, and Kevin: great great grandchild, Maverick: son in law , Johnny Hill; sister in law, Iona Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lynwood Hess, Jr., Her daughter, Susan Hill and her parents, Jess and Ora McElroy Williams. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am at Klein Memorial Park 9714 FM 2920 Tomball, Texas 77375 on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
