Mr. Jesse Earl Phillips, 60, a resident of Millbrook, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Newton officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, Vester Louis Phillips, Sr. and Nancy Lee Davis Phillips and brother Vester Louis Phillips, Jr. He worked for ABS Business Systems and was an umpire in Millbrook for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rita Gale Phillips; daughter, Victoria "Tori' Phillips (Greg Wyatt); son, Ryan Phillips (Amanda Alexander); daughter, Hayden Bryant; grandchildren, Hunter Wyatt, Brittany Wyatt, Parker Phillips, Annaleigh Dismukes, Kynlee Hill, Blakely Shoemake.
Pallbearers will be Dale Urban, Matt Hall, Robert Kuhn, Al Beasley, David Varon and Mike Headley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, Alabama directing.
