Wilbur J. 'Webb' Case died Jan. 25 at age 86. Mr. Case was born Sept. 1, 1914, in Tenino, Wash. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific. He was a logger for several companies, retiring due to injury in 1959. He lived in Gates, then moved to Beaverton in 1971. He was a member of the Beaverton Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a charter member of the Gates Fire Department, where he was a volunteer. In 1955, he married Louise Matty. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Cynthia D. Morrison and Tari J. Wills; stepson, Larry C. Sharley; sister, Effie M. Case; and three grandchildren.
