MINFORD-Jennifer Lynn Bentley, 38, of Minford, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at SOMC Hospice, after a brave battle with cervical cancer. She was born April 12, 1976 in Portsmouth and a daughter of Joseph Dwight and Debra Joy (Shoemaker) Burchett of Minford. She was a licensed Funeral Director, a Social Worker for Pike County Children's Services, attended North Moreland Christian Baptist Church in New Boston and Grace United Methodist Church in Waverly.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Rick Bentley; two beloved step-children, Erika Bentley and Ryan (Cheryl) Bentley; two step-grandchildren, Brooklyn and R.J. Bentley; two brothers, Steven (Jennifer) Burchett of Jackson, Michigan and Kevin (Lori) Burchett of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, three nephews, Joseph and Nolan Burchett, Michael Bentley and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Julie Evans, Pastor Paul Hagen and Pastor Charlie Ross officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2:00 p.m.
