Audrey Evans Armstrong, age 95, of Morehead, passed away Monday, August 8 ,2022, at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead.

She was born October 10,1926, in Bath County, and was the daughter of the late Claude Evans and Lottie Maze Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Armstrong; a son, Paul Michael Armstrong; and two brothers, Claudie Evans and Bill Evans.

Audrey is survived by her loving family; a son, Thomas (Debra) Armstrong of Lexington; four grandchildren, Leslie (Terry) Gray and Shawn Armstrong, all of Morehead, Amanda (Michael) Smith of Oklahoma, and Jennifer (John) Greff of Puerto Rico; 13 great grandchildren, Austin (Katelin) Wright of Flemingsburg, Dustin Wright of Morehead, Colten, Audrey and Cadyn Armstrong, all of Morehead, Adalaide, Aaleyah, Elijah, and Isaiah Greff, all of Puerto Rico, and Haley, Alex, Ethan, and Justin Smith, all of Oklahoma; and one great-great grandson, Tucker Wright.

She was a former employee of Frigidaire in Middletown, Ohio, and the Style Shop in Morehead. Audrey also owned and operated Armstrong Grocery and Trailer Park on Morgan Fork Road in Morehead.

Audrey was cheerful and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed watching old westerns movies, collecting antiques, cooking, caning, and traveling with her late husband, Pete along with friends and family in their motor home. The matriarch of her family, Audrey's leadership and strong spirit of determination will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 12,2022 at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cecil Ison and brother Charlie Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery,

Pallbearers: Colten Armstrong, Dustin Wright, Austin Wright, Rick Armstrong, Stefan Armstrong, and Butch Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers: Audrey Armstrong, Cadyn Armstrong, Yvonne Bradley, and Jerry Flannery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 12,2022 at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, Kentucky 40351.
