Fred Baker, 75, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his residence. He was born November 9, 1944, in Big Stone Gap, VA to the late Frank and Mae Crawford Baker. 

Fred was a loving and kind hearted man who would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Tennessee Vol fan. 

Fred retired from Eastman Chemical Company following twenty-five years of service and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Hummer Baker and his fur baby, Molly. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Frank Baker; daughter, Julie Robberson and husband, Lanny; grandchildren, Maycee Baker, Bailey Baker, Joe Buckles, Hannah and Jordan Murray; brother, Jack Baker; niece, Tamara Shadinger. 

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date. 

The care of Fred Baker and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral .
