Dorothy "Dottie" Auline Wheeler (nee Harris), of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Harold Palmer and James L. Wheeler; cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Inice Harris. Devoted mother of Cathy Palmer and the late Mark Palmer, Gina Palmer and Dana Palmer; stepmother of Harlan Wheeler and Teresa Hodge; cherished Mema of Christopher (Jessica), Heather, Amber (Marqus), Chelsea, Alex; great- grandmother to Aria and Eva. Dottie is also survived by many dear friends at the lake and in St. Peters.

Dottie was a woman who was full of life and love. She had a passion for politics and making a difference. Dottie was a devout Catholic who was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. In her free time, Dottie enjoyed the View and word search puzzles. She was a huge Cardinals baseball fan and never missed the chance to cheer them on. Dottie cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren most of all. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
