Mrs. G. Vera Tyler, daughter in law of President John Tyler, died in Coney Island hospital today from injuries suffered in a fall. She married Dr. Lachlan Tyler, the president's son, in Virginia.
Georgia Tyler was the author of several novels, plays and poems, under the name G. Vere Tyler. Her novels include "The Daughter of a Rebel", published in 1913 and "Children of Transgression" published in 1922. Both books are available for viewing online.
One of her works, "The Huntress of Men", published in 1915, was made into a feature film in 1916, starring Mary Fuller.
