Sharon Joyce Hodge Price, age 73, of Morrilton, gained her wings on April 7, 2020. Sharon was born in Marianna, Arkansas on June 23, 1946 the daughter of Earnest J. Hodge and Cleo Brown Hodge.
Sharon met her husband Dannie W. Price in Michigan while working in a Fruit Canning Facility. Over the course of their 58 years of marriage they had seven children, James Price, Tim Price, Teresa Shumate (Mark), Helen Sawffar, Chris Price, and Johnny Price (Melissa), all of Morrilton.
After living in Shirley, Arkansas for years, Dannie and Sharon settled with their six children in Morrilton, Arkansas in 1982. In addition to being a loving wife and a mother of seven children, she was a business owner of Arkansas Independent Millwright and Country Arcade. She was a Christian of the Church of Christ.
Throughout these years Sharon was blessed with 17 grandchildren, Danniella Pruitt, Tiffany Pledger (Sammy Jr.), Doranda Price, Kayla Bradley, Matthew Bradley, Ericka Osborne (Troy), Kristina McNew (Seth), Nathan Price (Allison), Katelynn Price, Haley Shumate, Daniel Price, Sarah Swaffar, Alex Shumate, Kassie Price, Victor Gulledge, and Ashley Martin (Blake), all of Morrilton; 23 great grandchildren, Hank, Case and Dierks Pruitt, Brayden and Carson Pledger, Sandhra DeSalvo, Kadyn Marshall, Andrew Thompson, Penelope, Drake, Opelia and River Bradley, Sam Osborne, Maverick, GiGi, Zane and Tristan McNew, Kelton and Lexie Brown, Kingston and Jackson Price, Mia Rosas and Kylie Martin, all of Morrilton.
Sharon has one niece/ adopted sister, Melanie Hodge York; numerous cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Morris, Don, and George, one son, Thomas Price and one grandson, Dillon Boyette.
Memorial graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Price Memorial Cemetery on Kordsmeier Lane in Morrilton with Rev. Sam Brown officiating.
