Our beloved daughter, sister, wife and friend passed away at home on July 6, 2003 due to complications from diabetes.

You will be missed dearly everyday by everyone in your family and all of your friends. You are the most loved person, so much you will never understand. You were a kind and generous person who was always willing to help. You were very creative and artistic. You loved drawing, scrapbooking and photography. You loved your dogs. Your life was short, but full. You were a beautiful and vibrant woman, and we will miss you. You struggled and survived, and now your struggle is over. We all cherish the time we spent with you from the moment you were born to the day you left. You were our miracle.

Rebecca was born on March 4, 1969 in Murray, Utah to Martin and Fransina Schouten. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1987 and attended Salt Lake Community College. She worked all her life in the banking and mortgage industry where she has many friends and colleagues.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Guymon; parents, Martin and Fransina Schouten; brothers, Ben and Marty; sisters, Evelyn Jones, Catharina (Danny) Jacketta, and Michelle Schouten. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Schouten.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10th, 11:00 a.m. at the Park Ward, 1050 East Galena Drive. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
