We all know, without a doubt that he was welcomed into Heaven by his parents Elbert and Mona Jo Porter Burgin, and his beloved sister, Mona Ruth “Ruthie” Burgin. What a glorious reunion that must have been!
Jamie was a faithful member of Elwood Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by a host of friends. Jamie’s life on Earth was not always easy but he never complained. Now he can say “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith 2 Timothy 4:7”. He now has his crown and will dwell with the Lord forever.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Memorials in Jamie’s memory may be sent to Elwood Baptist Church P.O. Box 700 Forest Hill, LA 71430.
