Jon Wayne Smith, of Mesquite, TX, passed away April 7, 2020. He was born December 4, 1934 in Greenville, TX to John Roy Smith and Mary Lorene Owens Smith.
He served his country in the US Air Force. He married Glenda Reid on June 4, 1960 in Dallas, TX.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John Roy Smith and Mary Naborney.
Wayne is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Glenda; aunt, Dora Owens, several cousins, nephew, David Woodard, brother-in-law Gordon Cooper and sister-in-law, Virginia Cooper.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand View Baptist Church, 1401 IH-30W, Mesquite, Tx 75150.
