Lillian "Mom" Miles, a resident of Belle Rose, died Sunday, July 29, 2007. She was 93 and a native of Killonia.
Visiting at Greater Israel Baptist Church, Belle Rose, on Friday, Aug. 10, from 5 p.m. until wake service at 8 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Ronald Dorsey. Funeral service at the church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery.
Survived by her daughter and spouse, Mary M. and Almond Lockett; 20 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Mary Miles; daughter, Corita Miles; three sons, Alfred, Harden and Charlie Bennett; two sisters and six brothers.
