After graduating from Washburn High School, Elwood enlisted in the military and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked at Consolidated Beverages for many years before retiring. In his spare time he loved to spend time, fishing, gardening and going to church.
He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 13 years, Patricia A. Donaldson of Boylston; eight children; four brothers; and twelve grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his former wife, Elaine (Rondeau) Lovely, one brother, one sister and a son.
