Ellen Viola Thomas Cooper, 88, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at her home after a long illness.

She was born September 17, 1918, to the late Charlie A. Thomas and Ellen J. Pannell Thomas.

She was a Member of the Old Country Church of Jesus Christ.

Services were held at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Terry Teddlie and Bro. Jerry Wallace officiating.
Burial was in Asbury Cemetery.

She is survived by nine Children, Nellie Whiteside of Wilmington, IL; Donna Essary of Saltillo ; Dalton Cooper of Booneville; Martha Davis of Blackland; Kenneth Cooper of Jumpertown Community; Brenda Posey of Pisgah Community; Charles Cooper of Hinkle; and Eddie Cooper and William Cooper both of the home address; 21 Grand Children; 30 Great Grand Children; and 7 Great Great Grand Children.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Her Husband, Roy Wilson Cooper; a Son, James Roy Cooper; a Grandson, Johnny Ray Cooper; a Great Grand Son, Michael A. Bishop; and three Sisters and three Brothers.
