Obituary for Martha Anne McCoy
Martha Anne McCoy, 87, of Orange, passed away on April 7, 2020, in Beaumont.

Born in Batavia, New York, on December 6, 1932, she was the daughter of Everett E. Heye and Francys M. (Decker) Heye. Martha worked as a dispatcher and matron for the Sheriff’s office in California, later going on to work on the Alaska pipeline and as a Alaska State EMS Coordinator. She was very creative and enjoyed cross stitching, needlepoint, crocheting, quilting, making baby blankets, and anything that had to do with flowers. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Francys Heye; and brothers, Gary Heye and Dana Heye.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard “Rick” A. McCoy; children, J. Michael Reed and wife Deborah of Bridge City, Alan B. Reed and wife Sandra of Beverton, Alabama, Paul K. Reed and wife Michele of Orange, William K. Reed and wife Twilene of Riverside, California, and Jeffrey K. Reed and wife Dorothy Darlene of Orange; 9 grandchildren; along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
