Alvin Ferrell, age 57, of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007.
He attended Pond Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Texie Ferrell and son, Calvin Ferrell.
Survivors include: wife, Patricia Ferrell, of Whitesburg; daughter, Rebecca A. Ferrell, of Whitesburg; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Connie Ferrell, of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Brittany Ferrell, Anthony Ferrell and Michelle Ferrell; father, Herb Ferrell, of Sneedville; brother, Allen "Joe" Ferrell of Sneedville; and nieces and nephews, Shawanda Ferrell, Cindy Ferrell and Neil Helton.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel in Sneedville, Rev. Ronnie Hayes officiating. Interment was in the Pond Hill Church Cemetery in Sneedville. Pallbearers were Kenny Allen, Greg Calloway, Arnold Anderson, John McDaniel, Tony McDaniel and Tim Lamb. The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the McNeil Funeral Home.
McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville was in charge of arrangements.
