Ronald J. Marshall, age 80, of LaValle, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home. He was born on December 10, 1939 in Hillsboro, WI, the son of Byron J. and Evelyn E. (Jackson) Marshall. He farmed in rural Cazenovia for many years. He enjoyed working on his tractors, especially his older Ford tractors. He also drove for Lakeside Foods and Shields Trucking. Ron was a former Fire Chief and member of the Cazenovia Fire Department for many years. He loved spending time with his great-grandchildren and held a huge place in his heart. Ron had a love for his animals, his dogs Ginger and Shelby and cat Gilligan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Rhonda Rae Marshall and granddaughter Laramie Rae Fry.

Ron is survived by his wife, Sharon of LaValle; his children, Diane (Dean) Fry of Cazenovia, and Kevin (Sandy) Marshall of Cazenovia; granddaughter Sarah (Jared) Chamberlin of LaValle; great-grandchildren Carson Marshall, Michael and Savannah Chamberlin; sister Donna Marshall of Reedsburg; along with other relatives and friends.

A private family service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Debra Sammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Cazenovia Hillside Cemetery.
