A loving and caring man, Donnie is loved by so many. His hobbies included spending time with family, drag racing, and fishing. He worked as a master carpenter.

Donnie leaves behind his wife, "the love of his life" Erica Ray Mitchell; sons, Noah Allen Mitchell and Able Ray Mitchell; his baby girl, Farrah Lynn Mitchell; and parents, Donnie and Sherry Mitchell. He also leaves 2 brothers and a sister, Joshua S. Mitchell (Kathey), Amanda L. Mitchell, and Christopher E. Mitchell (Emily), who all loved him very much; mother and father in-law, Jerry and Michelle Ray; brother-in-law, Jeremy Ray; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will always be missed and loved by many.

Funeral services will be private.
