Mary Ann Perry Carlton, 87, wife of the late Marvin Carlton, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at her daughters home in Waddy, KY. Mary Ann was born July 6, 1932 in Anderson County to the late Gilbert and Sadie Elizabeth Hume Perry.
Including her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a daughter Darlene Ruth Disponett, a son-in-law Coleman Adams; two brothers James Vernon Perry and Maurice Bruce "Butch" Perry; and a sister Bettye Hicks.
Mary Ann was a homemaker and member of the Corinth Christian Church. Mary Ann enjoyed fishing and formerly played softball for the Marlow School.
She is survived by four children, Mary Jo Houchin and her husband Tommy, Rita Adams, Roger Carlton and his wife Judy, all of Lawrenceburg and Marvin Lee Carlton and his wife Debbie of Arthur, NB; grandchildren, Kelley Puckett, Lee Carlton, Jaime Carter, Brittany Callan, Hannah Disponett, Meredith Smither and Jesse Carlton; several great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Linda Drury Perry and Joyce Sutton Perry, both of Lawrenceburg.
Private services will be observed. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery in Anderson County. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home
