Jacqueline “Jackie” Rose Yates, 82
HARTFORD CITY – Jacqueline “Jackie” Rose Yates, 82, passed away at 12:04 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2020 at her residence.
She was born in Madison, IN on March 11, 1938 to Joseph Sark and Edna (Turner) Sark. Both of her parents preceded her in death.
Jackie graduated from Shortridge High School in 1946. She married Dale Arthur Yates on December 12, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN.
She retired from Key Plastics in 2003.
Jackie blessed her family and friends with her love and gentle spirit. She was a terrific wife, mother and grandmother. She was patient, kind, loving, strong and had a great sense of humor. She had a winning, genuine smile and was so full of love and warmth.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years and 5 months, Dale A. Yates of Hartford City; children, Connie (husband, Rayman) Snider of Cloverdale, IN, Anthony E. Allison of Lake Whales, FL, Cindy L. (husband, Mike) James of Greenwood, Sharron E. Yates of Marion, Patrick D. (wife, Mary) Yates of Greenwood, Sean H. Glickman of FL and Stacey A. Yates of Marion; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother and 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her son, John W. Allison.
There will be no visitation or services for Jackie. She will be cremated.
